First, you need to determine which system type (32 bits or 64 bits) you have. Go to System.

Download the right driver and extract it somewhere :

Windows 64 bits

Now, click on Start button and go to Devices and printers, click on Add printer and follow these steps :
If your system does not automatically recognize the the printer, you need to select it from a list. The brand is Ricoh, the model is MP C3003.

If you cannot find this type of printer, it means you need to download the drivers. Go to Openprinting - Ricoh MP C3003 and download it for your distribution. Once installed, you need to start over the procedure to install the printer.

Our Backup server is a local storage cloud based on "Owncloud", a free and open source software. It gives you universal access to your data through a web interface or client that you need to install on your device. It also provides a platform to easily view and sync your contacts, calendars, bookmarks and more, across all your devices and from anywhere.

Installing the client
Windows & Mac
For theses platforms, the client can be downloaded from the owncloud download page.
Linux
Please refer to the the official documentation
Configuring the client
After installing, run the client.

You first need to specify the server address:

You can then log in with your username and password
It is the same password you use for the wifi at the lab or to log in to the IIHE website

Lastly, configure which of your folder needs to be backed up.

Sync multiple folders
Go to Owncloud settings (right click on the icon in your taskbar or systray).

Then remove the default folder. If this sync exists, you can't sync multiple folders.
Now, click on Add folder, and pick a local folder.

On the remote directory, select a folder or create one.

In this example, the local folder Work Folder is synced with the remote folder Work Folder.
There are apps for Android an IOS available. However, they are not free (~1€). Which theses applications, you can access to your files anywhere and upload files (not directories).

There is also an option to instantly upload photos taken by camera.

Owncloud for Android

Owncloud for Ipad/Iphone

Start over the procedure for each folder you want to sync.

Web Interface
Once your files have been backed up, you can view the result (and download or delete any file) from a web interface.

View 1

View 2

OPTIONS

* -u username : list only jobs submitted by username

* -n : show nodes where jobs are running

* -q : show the job repartition on queues

Overview
The cluster is composed by 4 machine types :
*User Interfaces (UI)
This is the cluster front-end, to use the cluster, you need to log into those machines
Servers : ui01, ui02
*Computing Element (CE)
This server is the core of the batch system : it run submitted jobs on worker nodes
Servers : ce
*Worker Nodes (WN)
This is the power of the cluster : they run jobs and send the status back to the CE
Servers : slave*
*Storage Elements
This is the memory of the cluster : they contains data, software, ...
Servers : datang (/data, /software), lxserv (/user), x4500 (/ice3)

How to connect
To connect to the cluster, you must use your IIHE credentials (same as for wifi)

ssh username@icecube.iihe.ac.be
TIP : icecube.iihe.ac.be & lxpub.iihe.ac.be points automatically to available UI's (ui01, ui02, ...)

After a successful login, you'll see this message :
